The Institute for Challenging Disorganization (ICD) is an association composed primarily of professional organizers, productivity specialists, and other service providers who recognize and wish to alleviate chronic disorganization in their clients. ICD provides education to facilitate a better understanding of what causes CD, such as hoarding disorder, and what techniques and strategies are most effective when working with a client. NAPO was founded by a small group of professional women in Los Angeles in the 1980s. The group became a destination for those who wanted to become POs and launch new careers. NAPO has since become nationally recognized as a leading organization for productivity and organizing professionals. The association has the authority to bestow the Certified Professional Organizer (CPO) credential to qualified members. NASMM is the leading association of Specialty and Senior Move Managers in the United States, Canada, and abroad.
